People come into counselling for all sorts of reasons - you may need support to cope with specific problems that you are faced with in your life right now or you may be struggling with things that have happened in the past.   You may be finding it hard to overcome anxiety or battling depression and losing hope.   You may be overwhelmed with strong emotions, struggling to control anger, having problems with relationships or locked in self defeating patterns of behaviour. Or you may simply have a sense that life could be better and want to open up to change and possibility and to start really living your life.  Whatever your circumstance, counselling can really make a difference.

Problems can seem overwhelming.  Professional counselling provides real support and genuine understanding when you need it most, allowing you to benefit from a different and experienced perspective. You won't be judged and will be accepted for who you are, which means that you can talk freely, in a safe enviromnent. By reflecting and drawing your attention through talking through any difficulties or problems in your life, together we will find insight which will help you heal and which will empower you to make choices and changes in your life.

I am an integrative counsellor which means I am trained to work with a range of counselling therapies.  This allows me to be flexible and draw on the approaches that are most helpful for you.  I work with children, young people and adults.
